KEYS TO EMPOWERMENT
COACHING HELPS YOU CULTIVATE THESE QUALITIES TO GROW YOUR PERSONAL POWER.
REFRESH AND RENEW YOUR PERSPECTIVE
Re-evaluate what you believe, what you value, and what you want. Some of us get stuck in a negative self-image or in our fear of letting go of old roles. We have trouble finding flexibility in redefining ourselves and our circumstances. As we become more confident our value, we are able to be more open to new ways of thinking and seeing things. As we learn how to be more flexible - more open to possibility - life becomes more interesting and exciting. We can look forward to an ongoing renewal of who we are and who we will become.
"Sometimes you need to let go of everything you're clinging to and start over, whether it's because you've outgrown it or because it's not working anymore or because it was wrong for you in the first place." -Kelly Cutrone
STRIKE A BALANCE BETWEEN SELF-RELIANCE AND RELYING ON OTHERS
Empowered people have an easier time being vulnerable in relying on others and asking for help, which is especially important during life shifts and transitions. When you understand who you are and what you need, you are more able to look realistically at who you have around you that you can trust to be supportive. Dealing with life's challenges successfully requires a combination of independence and dependence.
ACTIVATE YOUR RESILIENCE
Research over the last twenty years tells us that resilience is more than weathering a storm or recovering from unexpected change. Resilience is the capacity to adapt to stress, trauma, and loss healthfully and to become larger than our circumstances. It's the ability to make choices that strengthen and sustain us during a difficult time. Resilience rests in our ability to be flexible and to maintain a growth mindset.
"I really appreciate how Gina helped me listen to my own instincts about making a new start. My husband is starting a new job in another state and we're moving. We never expected to be doing this in our 50s. She also helped me bring a bunch of scattered thoughts into clearer focus. I feel more confident and prepared. With Gina's support, I feel less anxious." -Jeanne
